2017 has been a pivotal year for HOPE3 Ministries. As we continue our upward trajectory, we have launched a new ministry, and we have become much more involved in events in our local community.
In April of 2017, we sponsored the first-ever Bowling Green CommUNITY Music Festival. The Festival’s theme was “Celebrating Caroline Diversity,” with acts participating from local area churches and headliners arriving from as far as South Carolina. This exciting event brought together folks from different walks of life in community, enjoying a day filled with music.
In May, we participated in the Strawberry Faire in Ashland, at which we gave out a case of Bibles. This led us to expand to ordering a variety of Bibles (regular, children’s, Spanish language, and large print New Testament) for future community events.
In July, we sponsored a booth at the Caroline County Fair, and gave away 95 Bibles. In October, we look forward to participating in the Bowling Green Harvest Festival.
All of these festivals and fairs have provided HOPE3 Ministries with the opportunity to raise awareness of our ministry’s mission and programming. Participants are able to pick up a newsletter, sign up for our mailing list and take home information about upcoming HOPE3 Ministries events. We hope that this new outreach will lead to increased attendance at our weekly Bible Study and monthly Family Fun events, as well as provide leads for potential seeds for the HOPE3 Weekend.
