Who We are:

HOPE3 Ministries, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, headquartered in central Virginia. HOPE3 stands for He Opens Peoples’ Eyes – in 3 days. Our mission is to share joyfully the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ through a variety of educational and religious programs, activities, and continual nurturing.

HOPE3 Ministries, Inc. is a non-denominational organization and is managed by a volunteer board made up of laity and clergy from a variety of denominations.

Brief History:

The idea of HOPE3 was conceived during Deb Leeper’s participation in the Walk to Emmaus program. On April 30, 2009, God called her, alongside her husband, Richard, to accomplish a very special project for Him. The project has come to be known as the HOPE3 Weekend.  As it turns out, HOPE3 Ministries grew far bigger than just the weekend program.

On February 17, 2012, HOPE3 Ministries received the Certificate of Incorporation from State Corporation Commission of the Commonwealth of Virginia. On March 13, 2013, HOPE3Ministries received notification of its 501(c)3 status by the Internal Revenue Service.

What We Do:

To fulfill our mission, HOPE3 Ministries, Inc., provides a variety of opportunities for Christian fellowship and study of the Word.  We offer a weekly Bible Study as well as a monthly Family Fun event for those with limited ability to provide fun activities for their families.

Our flagship program is the HOPE3 Weekend – an experience similar to the Walk to Emmaus or Presbyterian Pilgrimage that is different in one key way: our target audience is the un-churched.

Who We Hope to Reach:

Our programs are designed to attract a diverse group of people, young and old and from all walks of life. Our weekly and monthly activities mainly attract people local to central Virginia. Although the first few years of offering the HOPE3 Weekend will likely draw from those within commuting distance, we envision a time when the Weekend will be replicated all over the United States.

If you are unsure about Christianity, if you have been hurt by the church in the past, or if you are seeking a closer relationship to God, our ministries may be perfect for you. If you’d like to speak to someone about how you might benefit from HOPE3 Ministries, please contact us.
